The kids in Radio Jazz were very grateful for the kind and enthusiastic reception at their performance at HS chapel on Tuesday!!

It's such a rare treat for the conservatory kids to get to perform for their fellow classmates and teachers at VCS!! They usually perform at the Vacaville Performing Arts Theater and other venues.

Now, after many hours of composition; orchestration; study and rehearsal, our jazz kids head to the University of Nevada International Reno Jazz Festival to perform in the largest festival of it's type in the world as the smallest school out of over 300 bands.

Keep in mind that these are just 12 of our 40 talented advanced students in the VCS Radio Symphony Orchestra known for their world premiere compositions, orchestrations and full symphony performances as well as world-class live film score synchronization.

Their next performance is May 16th at 7:30pm --- performing the amazing Camille Saint-Saëns Symphony #3 (Organ Symphony)

at the Vacaville Performing Arts Theater

Admission is FREE for faculty and staff requesting comp tickets

Tickets are also free to all VCS middle and high school students who show their valid VCS ID card at the theater box office.

VCS Radio Symphony and Jazz Ensemble is also featured on VCS Radio's Sound Art Central show Saturdays at 7:00pm on KVCB 100.9 FM & HD1 and all day on HD2.
